Welcome to Suga in My Bowl radio‘s weekly feature, On The Bandstand, where we collect upcoming NYC area shows from current and past Suga’ guests. We’re online weekly and on the air on NYC’s WBAI-FM radio every Tuesday night from 10 PM -12 midnight. Keep up with us via Facebook, the blog here, or our main website, or Twitter and we’ll keep track of the schedule for you.
We’re officially on hiatus for the rest of the fund drive, but hop on over to our archives for our last show with vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Camille Thurman and a decade of previous shows. See you in March. And we have more listings for you this week.
Before we get to the rest of this week’s listings, a note that WBAI Radio’s Winter Fund Drive is in full swing. We urge you to give whatever you can and it’s particularly helpful to become a sustaining member with a monthly pledge, which we call a BAI Buddy. and gets you a few perks–including a members’ discount card useful for several places around NYC–in addition to giving the station a predictable, stable source of support. As always, thanks for any help you can offer.

That’s all for now. Suga’ in My Bowl will be back on WBAI‘s airwaves in March after the Winter Fund Drive in our new weekly 10 PM Tuesday slot! We’ll also have another edition of “On the Bandstand” online next Sunday with a fresh set of listings.
